A new tab for finding games

A couple years ago i was in this community for a game platform called castle. Its still around, but back when it was kinda small and even to this day it has a game finding feature i rarely see modern platforms have.

Basically, a tab that displays the most recent uploads to the platform. Kinda like the recent tab in geometry dash.

The reason i think this is a good idea, especially for the start of a platform that might be smaller, is that it allows people to quickly find projects that might not be highlighted otherwise. And for a platform like luduvo where most of the people entering in are passionate about the platform, i imagine a tab like this wouldnt fill up with slop immediately, but instead serve as a way to make people find unpopular creators and their projects.

Also i dont know if this really counts as proof of effectiveness but on castle my projects even when i had no followers originally saw usually a few hundred plays just because of the “Recent” tab.

Please consider this feature!

as long as theres some limits in place for the amount of games featured in this category per user (within a reasonable time frame before a new game made by the same user can be featured), then yeah its not a bad idea at all. the only way i can see it being exploited is via bots uploading the same game, but looking at account creation date could also help with that issue. also wrote about some new game discovery stuff here I have a good idea - #2 by luneautomata
