maybe, but luduvo could also introduce stuff to help with discovery like:
- a “because you played” category that includes the same tags of recently played games, this would also need a system to tag games by category (i.e. casual, rougelike, fps, scifi) which would be leagues ahead of other ugc platforms tagging (with maybe the option to create a new tag that doesnt appear on the tag list, so you could have more niche tags available for certain aesthetics (i.e. backrooms, or tower defense, or extraction)
- a filter to sort by new, popular upcoming
- a way for newer indie dev groups to advertise without being overshadowed by those who have way more funds, maybe you could pay lunes for your game to appear on a list of “new releases” and or “scheduled to release” to help build hype for smaller games. these lists dont have to be on the games page, but rather a place the user can choose to visit. this list of games would be unbiased as every game would only appear once and at the same price
- handpicked underrated games category, maybe even gamejams as a side community thing (known to help smaller devs get noticed)
