So, I’m currently in the process of making a mesh pack for builders to expand a builder’s arsenal when making things in Luduvo. This includes things like a Toruses, Capsules, Tubes, inverted Cubes for Outlines, ect. But then I realized… I don’t really build all that much.
So, to the builders on Luduvo… What shapes would be handy?
Double sided? Or single-sided? As in only one side is visible.
I’m doing my best to work around it- but I’ve also had issues with certain shapes not deforming correctly when scaling- resizing on both the negative and positive directions of the area when I scale. I can’t seem to find the reason…
Nevertheless, thanks for the input, and I’d be happy to hear any other ideas!
I mean, to be fair, that doesn’t mean a circle would be useless. There’s now be two faces instead of the roughly 18 faces of the default cylinder. (Yes, I counted, had to ensure parity.)
A micro-optimization, but an optimization nonetheless.
wish there was a unioning/negating feature in luduvo studio, otherwise this wouldnt be a problem tbh. I think what would be cool would be like a triangle shape, basically like two wedges side by side, makes for a good arrow point or something.
Hehe thanks.
I was just thinking back to my time in Roblox Studio, and remembering this texture pack and mesh pack that I used and thought “Huh. Man those were useful… I should try that here.”
It seems to be more of a glitch than something that’s intentional, since the scaling tools don’t quite work as intended when resizing the part, so I think that the mesh variant would still have some usability.
