Negating, Grouping, and Duplicating

Hello! I have liked the alpha release of Luduvo Studio for the most part. There are, however, some very useful suggestions I have to give.

Negating

Admittedly, I haven’t used Roblox Studio in years; however, one feature I used quite frequently was the negate tool. Basically, you put a part inside another, select both of them, and a hole will be created in the second part where the two parts intersected. It would be really useful if Luduvo Studio had a similar feature.

Grouping

Something that stuck out to me immediately about Studio is the lack of a way to group parts together in some way. This makes the explorer very messy and unorganized. Thus, it would be very good if there was some way to group parts together.

Duplicating

A very annoying misfeature of duplicating part(s) together is that the duplicated part is raised two studs higher than the original. This is, in my opinion, very annoying, as I commonly find myself tediously lowering these back into their original position before doing what I originally meant to do with it. I think this should be removed or at least toggleable.

Thank you for reading!

I agree with all of these points you covered. Negating and Grouping would be very helpful additions! And, yeah, the slightly raised duplication thing is a bit annoying to me as well, lol.

They’ll be added eventually (as the current build we have is very very early in development), so just give the team some time to code those in.

Use ctrl D to duplicate better

regarding grouping, it would be great if the studio had the option for models (ability to link and move all parts of an object) and folders (like a model but retains the ability to move models independently so moving one chair wouldnt move all of them for example). having a shortcut for these functions would be great, alongside a shortcut to individually select single objects even if inside a model (makes it easier to tweak a single object without having to fish for it in explorer)
