Can I become a Platform moderator?
The answer for this is no. We will either come to you offering a position, or you will have to apply during an application season. There will be an announcement whenever applications are being accepted.
What engine is Luduvo being built on?
Luduvo is being built on an entirely custom proprietary C++ engine. We are NOT built on a fork or version of Godot, Unity, Unreal, Ogre, etc…

Can I get alpha access?
Currently, Luduvo is in a closed alpha stage. However, we have been looking into ways recently to allow new members to join Luduvo’s alpha stage via another application pool or a referral code system. News will be shared on Luduvo’s socials if the status of closed alpha changes.
Will Luduvo have UGC cosmetics?
Luduvo plans to launch with a UGC cosmetic program that is closed to trusted user. We do not plan on ever fully committing to a public UGC program at this time.
Will I be able to cash out my earned Lunes for $$$?
Yes, at launch, any and all earned Lunes will be eligible to be cashed out for real world money. We do not know the Lune earnings amount however, as that is being decided by our financial team.
Can I apply to work at Luduvo as a developer?

Why is Luduvo taking so long to develop?
Unlike competitors who rely on pre-existing engines or take shortcuts, we pride ourselves on building a high-performance, visually stunning custom engine from scratch. However due to this ideology, development on Luduvo takes much longer than similar platforms. Slow and steady wins the race?
What should I expect Luduvo Client/Studio to be like at launch?
Expect a high quality engine with the ability to create awesome games! However, with launch being in fact, a launch, don’t expect the engine to instantly be able to rival platforms with 20+ years of existence. However, slowly but surely (or maybe quite fast! who knows), we will eventually overtake those platforms in terms of quality.
What is Luduvo’s stance on AI?
Luduvo has a strict anti generative AI policy. While we use the occasional AI model to HELP make platform moderation decisions, we will NEVER replace human moderators.
What clothing types will I be able to wear at launch?
We currently support 2D clothing. However, we plan to support 3D clothing by launch. We believe 3D clothing IF done right, is the future of customization.
Will there be free items on the store at launch?

Will Luduvo have a second currency OR will I be able to earn Lunes for free?
Sadly, due to many financial concerns, Luduvo will not be supporting a second currency or allow users to obtain Lunes for free directly from us. However, you may earn Lunes without spending money through trading, your creations, etc…
