Please avoid putting luduvo into the public market, it will ruin the platform just like how it did to Roblox.
People like luduvo specifically because choices aren’t influenced by investors.
I don’t really have plans to go public
you said you plan to in the AMA
that would only happen by the time luduvo is actually ready for such a thing, which it is not at all at the moment. im pretty sure isaac means he currently doesnt have plans to go public in the near future. i think we should avoid having the mindset of gatekeeping the luduvo community as well, i think its healthy for the platform to grow, but only if it does so correctly.
and an additional thing: if we’re talking about becoming a ‘public’ company, im pretty sure isaac was talking about marketting to the public, not becoming a public company
Oh no..Not the coporate moves. Please..NO..The investors are tricking him..
i dont know how no else has commented on this yet…
we currently are on r49 and r50 is dropping soonish apparently
Luduvo r1063 is a ways away…
the “plan” in in AMA is too unrealistic to be an actual business strategy
(ah yes, in 42 years we go public for the moneys, so much gain)
also does the number 1063 mean anything?
That was a joke… grr
I thought the question was regarding marketing, not going public as a company, if that makes sense.
Oh ok just misinterpreted it, all good
r/woooosh
i think luduvo DOES have investors but please listen to the community, not the investors
Sigh… and here I thought you were cool. And that you were awesome. And that you were cool and awesome…
You need to do both to survive, sadly. You need money, and investors are an amazing way to do so.
Yeah i agree with this, we have to accept that Luduvo solely exists due to its different approach to doing a ugc/sandbox platform compared to other options, and that Luduvo is a startup company established as a for-profit. we cant really ignore this fact, its better if we understand the situation and why things happen. Not saying we shouldnt be critical on how much luduvo serves the community, i think we should make sure luduvo stays a community oriented platform, as that is one of its major benefits compared to the big R.
